Iranian Ambassador to China Responds to the Hormuz Strait Issue
“Currently, what makes our region unsafe are the United States and Israel. If the world wants to ensure the safety of energy transportation, then first, the United States and Israel must leave the region,” Iranian Ambassador to China Fazri said on September 9 when responding to a question from China News Service reporters. He pointed out that if the world is very concerned about the security of energy transportation, a very important question must be asked: which major international organization authorized the United States to launch attacks on Iran? The actions of the United States have not received any permission. Fazri said, “Iran has always been a security guarantor for the passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and it still is.” He stated that the United States is the source of insecurity in the region. The U.S. can only ensure the safety of the Strait of Hormuz and energy routes by leaving the region, not by increasing its military presence there. (Guo Shi Zhi Tong Che)
