Campbell’s Soup factory in Paris to lay off 205 workers

The Campbell’s Soup factory in Paris, Texas, is planning to lay off 205 of its 568 employees as it transitions from soup production to manufacturing Prego Italian sauces and Pace salsa. Soup production will cease on May 1st, and employees who remain until their layoff date will be eligible for separation benefits. The factory has been operating since 1964.
