On March 7th, PANews reported that US authorities have offered a $10 million reward for the capture of former Canadian Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding. Wedding is accused of being heavily involved in running a multinational cocaine empire. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced on Thursday that this Canadian has been placed on the top ten most wanted list in order to apprehend him as soon as possible. In October 2024, the Department of Justice brought criminal charges against Wedding and 15 other defendants, accusing them of leading the group and committing multiple acts of violence during the drug trafficking process. US authorities allege that Wedding is suspected of using his criminal organization to smuggle hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and fentanyl to North America, and orchestrating multiple murders to protect his business. It is alleged that Wedding is suspected of using USDT for money laundering and bypassing traditional banking systems.
