Gate Charity Launches Another Initiative, Delivers Food, Clothing, and School Supplies to Children's Shelter in Vietnam

As Gate Charity seeks to improve the world around us through charitable and philanthropic action, a new initiative was launched to support one of the most vulnerable demographics: children.

It's estimated that millions of abandoned and orphaned children worldwide are often unable to support themselves or live a comfortable life. Therefore, these children must receive support from orphanages, shelters, and other organizations to ensure they are not left alone in the streets.

To help abandoned children, a shelter in Vietnam leaves its doors wide open. The [Ky Quang II Pagoda](https://www.itourvn.com/blog/ky-quang-ii-pagoda-in-go-vap-a-pagoda-without-any-roofs-and-walls "Ky Quang II Pagoda"), located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has taken over 280 children into its care, providing them with a warm bed, food, clothing, education, and, most importantly, parentship. Many of these children, some of whom are still infants, require special attention as they live with mental, physical, and congenital disabilities.

Caring for so many children is an enormous responsibility that Gate Charity recognizes, believing every child deserves love and dignity. To help support the shelter, Gate Charity delivered clothing, food, and school supplies that will go directly to these children so they can live and grow in comfort. Furthermore, the Gate team paid a visit to the shelter, its volunteers, and the children.

We are glad to share another blockchain-powered and cryptocurrency-funded initiative to help build a more fair and equal world. As only the second initiative from Gate Charity, there are still many more issues to tackle, people to help, and initiatives to begin. As this journey is just starting, we welcome the wider crypto community to unite with us to improve the world and society that we all share.
