Soneium Launches Sleepagotchi LITE to Expand Web3 Access
The popular game Sleepagotchi LITE has officially launched on the LINE MINI App platform after it was released on the new Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain Soneium. Sleepagotchi LITE is a mini app developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs (SBSL) and Startale Group. By bringing the viral Telegram game to over 200 million active LINE users, the game’s Web3 adoption potential is extended through simplified onchain onboarding.
Sleepagotchi has partnered with Soneium to integrate and play on the blockchain within the LINE ecosystem. Sleepagotchi LITE is simple to access for users who are using the LINE app or a browser with LINE or Telegram Login. Soneium also allows new players a smooth entry into the blockchain experience, accepting $USDC and ASTR payments for the game.
Sleepagotchi Expands with Gamified and Japan-Inspired Experience
The experience is more accessible than that of its original sleep-to-earn model. Sleep tracking requirements are removed and replaced with useful features such as collectible battle cards and global community connections. This version sets players up for the upcoming main Sleepagotchi app, which will be version 2.0. Tracked sleep data will have more meaning in the rewards you can gain in the game.
Sleepagotchi CEO Anton Kraminkin said the game’s heavy influence is based on Japanese culture, including kawaii art, JRPG themes, and gacha mechanics. Expanding its user base in the region, the new LINE integration is in step with Japan’s position as a key early market.
Soneium Boosts Web3 Access with LINE and Sleepagotchi
