Gate News Report, March 21 — According to Japan’s Kyodo News, Iranian Foreign Minister Alireza Enayati stated in a phone interview on March 20 that Iran hopes to end the war thoroughly, comprehensively, and permanently, rather than just a temporary ceasefire. Enayati pointed out that the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran are illegal and unjustified acts of aggression, and he hopes the whole world will unite to oppose them. He emphasized that although several countries are pushing for a ceasefire, Iran is only considering a solution that ends the war outright, including ensuring Iran is no longer attacked and receiving compensation for damages suffered. Enayati also said he does not believe the U.S. is prepared for negotiations. Additionally, Enayati mentioned that Iran is willing to negotiate with Japan to allow Japanese vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a key energy transportation route.
