Golden Finance reports that on March 22, Backpack officials posted on X platform stating that regarding the witch detection issue, the team has had in-depth discussions with the person responsible for anti-witch measures. Due to the enforcement level insisting on the compliance principle of “one person, one account,” some Chinese-speaking users have been affected.
Armani and the core team are preparing to immediately open an appeal channel and establish the “Rule 3”: users who have operated on three or fewer accounts on a single device and are deemed to be witches will, after manual review and verification, be refunded more than 50% of their points. Additionally, the Backpack team will launch a special plan in the coming days to compensate eligible users through token repurchases in the secondary market.
