There's a fascinating disconnect in how the market's pricing Virtuals Protocol right now. The numbers tell a weird story.
Every day, somewhere between 40 to 60 new agents launch on the platform. Each launch burns 40k-60k VIRTUAL tokens. That's real demand, real utility driving deflationary pressure. Yet here's where it gets interesting: individual agent tokens? Trading at 40-80x their revenue. Classic consumer app premium.
But the protocol itself—capturing 10% of every agent's fees—sits at just 8x. Think about that. You're essentially paying consumer multiples for what's actually infrastructure play. The foundation layer eating a cut from everything built on top, priced like it's just another app in the ecosystem.
Might be the market hasn't figured out what it's looking at yet.
The actual destruction amount is right there, why hasn't anyone reacted to it? The liquidation price hasn't been calculated thoroughly, right?
Protocol 8 times? I even went all in, this is truly a meal ticket.
I'm betting that the next wave will pump the base layer, a Rekt lesson learned for my understanding.
The market is once again self-hypnotizing, I'm just waiting to see the moment people get liquidated.
