This afternoon, on a whim, I decided to start learning programming again from scratch.
Although I had Java and C language courses in college, I was completely absorbed in trading crypto in the secondary market at that time and had no motivation to study, so I basically learned nothing at all.
To this day, the only thing I can do in C language is print "Hello world!" 😂
My main motivation for learning Python today is the idea of building an on-chain quant trading bot for perp_DEX.
It just so happens that I have fairly mature strategies on CEX that I can copy. Once I build it, I can use it to farm several of the currently hot Perp_Dex projects that haven’t TGE’d yet.
I spent about 20 minutes learning this afternoon, first installing the parser. Tonight, I’ll take a few more lessons and get the development tools set up.
Hopefully, this time I won’t give up halfway. With a clear goal and interest, plus AI assistance nowadays, I believe I should be able to get started with this skill quickly.
I’m giving myself 2 months to develop an on-chain quant trading bot. I welcome all my friends here to supervise me. If I succeed, those in the comments will get free access to try it out 🥰
