Jesus’ concept of love thy neighbor is something that needs to be taught because he defined a neighbor as the closest person in need to you, not necessarily person living next door. So if you are walking next to a homeless man sleeping on the road, That’s your neighbour at that moment. If you are talking to someone, that’s your neighbor.
