I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today I want to share a bit about the detours I’ve taken over the years.

At 22, I took my first step into the crypto market. Now, I’m almost 30—doing the math, that’s a solid eight years. During bull markets, I’ve seen everyone rush in like crazy, and I’ve survived bear markets where my account was so deep in the red I wanted to just shut everything down. I’ve been liquidated, cut off funding, and been jolted awake at midnight by a massive red candle with my heart pounding—these are experiences only those who’ve really been in the trenches will understand.

This year, my portfolio finally broke into eight figures. That day, I just sat in my chair, staring blankly for half an hour. Honestly, I didn’t feel much excitement—just a sense of, “Finally, I made it through.”

People often ask me, “How do you always manage to stay steady? Why is it that when you casually say something, we follow and make money?”

It took me a while to figure it out—differences between people aren’t really about luck; it’s about how you perceive things and whether you can withstand loneliness.

Let’s start with BTC—it’s the market’s true barometer. No matter what coin you’re trading, it’s always calling the shots. When it goes up, the whole market gets hyped; when it drops, altcoins all collapse and play dead. Don’t kid yourself thinking altcoins can break out independently—there are occasional exceptions, but most of the time it’s just wishful thinking.

ETH, on the other hand, is the market’s rhythm-setter. A lot of people chase hot small caps, buying high and selling low, but forget that the market’s direction is often signaled by ETH first. When it moves, it means capital is looking for the next breakthrough. But don’t treat it as just a sentiment-driven asset—it’s deeply tied to the broader market, just moves a bit faster.

Another thing: as long as it’s not a total scam coin going to zero, if there’s volume and attention, there’s really no need to panic when it drops. In three to five days, maybe half a month, there’s always a chance for a rebound. Retail traders lose the most when they panic-sell, only to watch prices bounce back. If you have spare cash, buy in batches to average down; if not, just hold and do nothing. In this space, patience is more valuable than anything else.

My most successful trade was going heavy on Dogecoin around 0.08. Nobody around me believed in it, but I held for two years and eventually cashed out with more than a 20x return.

In the end, I realized that this market isn’t about having the most advanced skills or the best talent—it’s about whether, amid all the chaos, you can keep a clear mind and sound judgment.

Eight years to make eight figures—this level of patience is incredible. Just holding Doge for two years almost gave me a heart attack.

Eight years to make eight figures—really, what’s even stronger than talent is not wielding the scalpel. Cutting your own flesh is a loss that eats into your foundation.

After eight years of ups and downs, I finally understand that, at its core, this space is simply a game of patience.

An eight-figure income sounds great, but only those who have endured those sleepless nights truly understand what it means to persevere.

okay but real talk, the "patience beats timing" thesis here checks out statistically speaking... dude basically did a 20x on doge just by refusing to panic-sell like the rest of the retail masses. that's literally the memetic velocity of diamond hands in action ngl
