After nearly a week of tinkering, I finally managed to get all the main components of my self-developed swing trading bot working.
From strategy logic to API integration, and then to the risk control module, I ran into quite a few pitfalls along the way. But seeing it start to execute trades on its own is a really satisfying feeling—it makes all those sleepless nights worth it.
Next up is the live trading test phase. Now I’ll see whether this logic can actually perform in real market conditions. After all, no matter how good the backtest data looks, it still has to withstand the harsh reality of the market.
