Want to actually make money trading? Stop chasing every shiny setup.

Pick ONE strategy. Learn it inside out. Risk tiny amounts—protecting your capital matters way more than hitting home runs. Never wing it. Every position needs a plan before you click buy.

Here's what separates winners from losers: write down every single trade. What worked? What didn't? Check your journal weekly and fix mistakes.

The hardest part? Staying patient when markets go sideways. Staying calm when everything's red.

Slow and steady destroys fast and reckless. Discipline isn't sexy, but it pays.

What you said about keeping a trading journal is absolutely right, but most people give up after less than a week.

That's absolutely right, but 99% of people just can't do it. Every time I want to chase the latest coin, I end up losing everything I made before... Now I'm sticking to one strategy, it's slow but at least I don't get liquidated frequently.

lmao "discipline isn't sexy" yeah no shit, that's why 99% of retail traders are broke. the journal thing tho... actually seen the correlation matrix on traders who actually keep records vs the ones who don't. it's brutal. most ppl won't do it because they'd rather cope than face their own incompetence ngl

Absolutely right. I used to be the type who just shot in the dark, and ended up losing badly. Now I stick to one strategy and keep a trade journal every day. I can really start to see the patterns over time.

To be honest, I've never stuck to keeping a trading journal. Every time, I only regret it after losing money... Looking back now, it’s really my own fault.

After all is said and done, it still all comes down to mindset... I used to be greedy and wanted to try every strategy, and ended up losing badly. Keeping a trading journal is actually really helpful, even though it’s tough to look at your own mistakes, haha.

What you said is absolutely right, but most people turn around and start chasing highs after reading it. Very few people can stick to keeping a trading journal for even a month.
