Woke up this morning and checked the market, BCH shot straight up to 595. This position is floating a loss of several thousand USDT, but at least my position size is under control and I haven’t been liquidated. To be honest, I’m a bit nervous and it doesn’t feel like there’s much hope for a comeback this time.
BTC is going up today, and I thought altcoins would follow. But I still chose to short, and now I’m in a tough spot. My mentality is definitely shaken, and I’m not sure if I should keep holding on...

Shorting altcoins is just asking for death. When BTC rises, you can't keep up; when BTC drops, you're hammered. This round has been really unlucky.

Going short requires mental preparation; the rebound is the hardest to endure...

This wave of short BCH has indeed stretched the curse of reverse operation

Shorting altcoins is really a brilliant move. Losing a few thousand and still being able to handle it—I would’ve already lost my cool if I were you.

Haha, this is a typical gravity pullback phase. The 595 level is actually the resistance at the upper Bollinger Band, and the RSI hasn't even entered the overbought zone yet.
I understand the feeling of being stuck between a rock and a hard place, but the key is to calculate the escape velocity clearly. If you keep holding, you need to set a proper stop-loss level.

At the 595 price level, I need to dig into the recent large transfer records... Something feels off.

This is the price of shorting. Didn't expect BTC to rise and the altcoins to follow? I understand the feeling of being stuck between a rock and a hard place—whether to hold on or close the position. Honestly, mindset is the most important thing.

I understand the feeling of being stuck in a difficult situation. Shorting feels great for a moment, but when the market pulls back, it’s a total disaster. BTC is rising while altcoins are moving in the opposite direction—this move is really something else.

Haha, this move is really tough. What short sellers fear most is this kind of breakout in the opposite direction—it feels like a mental breakdown.

It just rebounded for nothing, that's the daily routine of altcoins.
