[Crypto World] Jupiter founder meow recently posted an update, revealing quite a few thoughts on the project’s next steps. The core message: focus on subtraction—streamlining and aligning all business lines, from products to the team, from narrative to tokens.

Looking back, Jupiter has indeed been very active in the DeFi space lately. Jupiter Lend reached $1 billion in supply less than a week after launch; Mobile v2 was released, followed quickly by Ultra v3; they also partnered with Kalshi to launch a beta version of a prediction market. On the infrastructure side, they’re even more hardcore—it’s already a top player in Solana’s TVL and has become the second-largest validator.

Meow outlined three key priorities for the future: first, wrap up the current phase as a DeFi super-app instead of spreading too thin; then set a clear timeline for Jupnet and push it forward steadily; finally, build the most robust underlying architecture to truly bring on-chain finance into the mainstream spotlight. Sounds like they’re shifting from “scattering efforts everywhere” to “precise, targeted breakthroughs.”

Doing subtraction? Isn't that just giving up? After all this confusion, we still have to return to the essence. Jupiter's ambitions are too big; wanting to take everything, but ending up with nothing. This time, the wake-up call was quite timely. Lend just started to shrink, and I wonder if it's conserving strength or really out of options. Speaking of the Solana ship, Jupiter is indeed quite stable. It all depends on whether meow's move to do subtraction can actually create growth. How many times has there been a "strategic adjustment" now? It sounds a bit exhausting.

Doing less sounds simple, but why does it feel even harder than expanding... Really? 1 billion supply per week, that number sounds insane.
