Here comes this week's focus: what will the Fed do with rate cuts this time? We'll find out at 3 a.m. on Thursday. Can ETH ride this wave and reach a higher level? Does anyone have a prediction?

Keep a close eye on the timeline: inflation data comes out on December 9, which will directly set the tone for whether rates will be cut; the rate decision will be announced on December 11, revealing the suspense.

Right now, the market is generally betting on a 25 basis point cut—after all, recent US economic data hasn’t been great, plus some officials have been dropping dovish hints. But the problem is, there’s quite an internal debate at the Fed: the doves want to manage risks early, while the hawks are still worried inflation isn’t fully under control.

What’s really tricky is the path forward. The worry is that even if they do cut rates, they might simultaneously send some hawkish signals, capping the room for asset prices to rise. This “rate cut but not wholeheartedly” scenario is what really puts everyone to the test.

Lower 25 basis points? I bet the hawkish side will directly give us a surprise, and then ETH will plummet, and we’ll continue to experience psychological therapy.

A drop of 25 or 50, it all depends on how the inflation data on the 9th turns out, otherwise it's all just talk. I'm genuinely worried that the Federal Reserve might implement that fake rate cut strategy, and when liquidity loosens, retail investors will get hurt again. Whether ETH can break new highs in this wave depends on how the hawkish folks change their tune.

Cut by 25? I think it's uncertain; inflation data is the real key --- Again with this "cut but heartbreaking" trick, the Federal Reserve is playing it really slick --- Decision at 3 a.m., ETH will either surge or crash, no middle ground --- Doves and hawks fighting, we're just watching the show. This week is destined to be exciting --- Instead of guessing how ETH will move, it's better to see if inflation data is supportive --- I'm afraid that cutting rates might actually cause a sell-off; this kind of reverse operation is the most disgusting --- The market is betting on a 25 basis point cut. If it really happens, is there still any surprise? --- Internal disputes within the Federal Reserve suggest nothing is settled; we'll see the outcome on Thursday --- People say officials are signaling dovishness; should we believe it? Beware of tricks

Whether it’s a 25 or 50 basis point cut, that’s the real question. Anyway, you can’t trust a word out of the Fed, so I’ll have to stay up late to watch on Thursday morning. If ETH can’t keep up this time, it’ll be a joke. Let’s wait and see. As soon as a hawkish signal comes out, the market dumps immediately. Seen it too many times. Inflation data is the real game-changer, we’ll talk then. 25 basis points? Feels like it’ll be less than that. What’s there to be afraid of? Rate cuts should mean price increases, don’t bother with all that nonsense. With all this infighting at the Fed, retail investors like us are just along for the ride. We’ll see what happens on Thursday. There’s no point in saying anything now.

Cut by 25 basis points? Heh, these officials are going to play word games again, aren't they? Even if they do cut, I'm just worried they'll come out with some hawkish comments later and contradict themselves.

A 25 basis point cut has already been decided, right? What really matters are the hawkish signals that follow—looks like another round of retail investors getting fleeced.

Cut by 25 basis points? I bet the hawks are up to something again. Don’t be surprised if they talk about rate cuts but are actually thinking about rate hikes.

The 25bp cut has long been set in stone, the key is whether the hawks will pull any tricks. Where ETH can go this round really depends on the Fed's stance, just hope they don't pull any "head fake" moves. The real concern is if, after the rate decision, they just say "we'll continue to monitor going forward"—that would be awkward.

Cut by 25 basis points? I bet the hawks will be smug for a bit, just hope there’s no plunge afterward.
