#GateAPP焕新体验
When the update pop-up appeared, I was staring at the candlestick chart, hesitating whether to increase my position. I thought to myself, "It’s probably just a routine fix again," but with the mindset of "what if there’s a surprise," I clicked on the upgrade—resulting in some changes this time that are indeed worth mentioning.
The most intuitive: the interface really feels "light".
The first thing you notice when you open the app is the difference. The background of the dark mode has been adjusted in terms of gray scale; it's no longer that heavy pure black, but rather a deep gray base, making the contrast of charts and numbers more comfortable. Especially when staring at the screen for a long time, the pressure on the eyes is significantly reduced.
The font spacing of the trading pair list has been fine-tuned. The information density remains high, but it reads more smoothly. This optimization is subtle, but for those of us who browse the list daily looking for opportunities, the experience has been significantly improved.
The "little surprise" on the market page
The switching between multiple timeframes has become smoother! This is the point I want to praise the most. Previously, when quickly scrolling through the 1-minute, 5-minute, and 15-minute charts, there would occasionally be stutters, especially during network fluctuations. I specifically tested the quick switching on v8.0.5, and the responsiveness has significantly improved, with K-line re-rendering completing almost imperceptibly.
There's another detail: the custom group now supports custom color tags. I've marked "Key Observation," "Long-term Holding," and "Volatile Trading" with different colors, making it clear at a glance. Although it's a small feature, it really helps in managing multiple cryptocurrencies.
Trade execution: A little faster, but that little bit is very important.
I tried a few limit orders, and the speed of submission to confirmation feels optimized (it might be a psychological effect, but it does feel more straightforward). The key point is the responsiveness of the depth chart—when zooming in with two fingers, the display transition of the order volume is more natural and does not fluctuate suddenly.
The interface for the withdrawal process has been integrated; the steps that previously required two redirects can now be completed on a single coherent page, reducing the sense of interruption during operation.
Better places: customizable space
If I were to give a suggestion, I hope the next version can include more desktop widgets. For example, directly displaying the price changes of key cryptocurrencies on the phone's home screen, or quick operations for buying and selling. The current widgets are a bit basic, and for those who frequently check the market, reducing even one click would enhance efficiency.
Additionally, if there could be more options for the color tone of the night mode (such as pure black, dark gray, blue-gray), it would be more user-friendly.
