Mentougou hacker sold approximately 1,300 Bitcoins in the past week

BTC-e was shut down by law enforcement in 2017. The U.S. Department of Justice accuses him of collaborating with Aleksandr Verner to infiltrate Mt. Gox (then the world’s largest Bitcoin exchange) starting in 2011, stealing approximately 647,000 Bitcoins (leading to Mt. Gox’s bankruptcy). They are charged with conspiracy to launder money, with some of the stolen funds used to operate BTC-e.
