‼️ EF Declines "Government of Ethereum" Role

🔷 The Ethereum Foundation published a document described by the foundation as a combination of constitution, manifesto, and internal guidance, in which it reaffirmed Ethereum's core purpose.

This purpose is to ensure user self-sovereignty, enabling people to control their assets, personal data, and online activity without dependence on centralized intermediaries.

"Ethereum must, first and foremost, remain censorship-resistant, open-source, private, and secure," EF wrote in the mandate.

At the same time, EF does not claim the role of governing body for Ethereum, but rather acts as a "steward" responsible for preserving the protocol's core principles.
