12 Years Holding ETH, Early Ethereum Investor Sells 11,552 ETH Worth $23.42 Million

An early Ethereum investor reportedly sold part of their assets after more than a decade since participating in the initial coin offering in 2014.
The investor is known to have purchased 38,800 ETH with only around $12 thousand at the time of the ICO. Recently, they sold 11,552 ETH for a total value of approximately $23.42 million at a price of $2,027 per coin.
This transaction demonstrates the significant profit gained from the initial investment in Ethereum, considering the purchase price during the ICO was in a very low range compared to the current price.
Ethereum itself is one of the largest blockchains in the world, supporting various decentralized applications, including decentralized finance and non-fungible tokens sectors. Since its launch, this asset has experienced substantial growth both in price and adoption.
Sales by early investors like this often attract market attention because they can influence liquidity and sentiment, especially if done in large amounts. However, asset distribution from long-term holders can also reflect a shift of ownership to a broader market.
As of now, Ethereum remains one of the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization and continues to grow through various network upgrades aimed at improving scalability and efficiency.
