Honestly, when you look at the NFT gaming sector right now, it's crazy to see how much it has evolved. The blockchain gaming market is expected to reach nearly $66 billion by 2027, and honestly, you can see it. But finding the real NFT games that are truly worth it is another story.
I've spent quite a bit of time exploring different projects over the past few years, and some really stand out. Pikamoon, for example, is interesting because it combines serious MOBA gameplay ( you know, like League of Legends or Dota 2 ) with NFT mechanics. The PIKA token is currently trading at very low prices, which means potential rewards from battles could be pretty nice. The beta is available on mobile, so it's easy to try.
But if you're looking for something established, Axie Infinity remains a reference. Even though its player base has fluctuated, the AXS token stays well above its launch price. The concept of raising and battling NFT creatures is simple but addictive. Currently, AXS is around $1.12 with a market cap of about $190 million.
Alien Worlds is another interesting angle – a multi-chain card game where you can really participate in governance. The TLM token allows you to mine on different planets and take part in the game's politics. It's more complex, but it really offers additional layers of gameplay.
The Sandbox remains impressive for those who love creation. You can build entire worlds and monetize them. The SAND token is at $0.07 now with a market cap of $198 million. It's still in alpha, so there's room for improvement.
And then there's Gods Unchained for card game fans. Developed by the creators of Magic: The Gathering Arena, it's free to start. You can truly own your cards as NFTs and resell them.
What’s cool about NFT games is that you can really earn by playing – not just virtually, but by converting your gains into crypto or fiat. Of course, you need to be realistic: it takes time, strategy, and sometimes an initial investment. But if you love gaming and want to explore how blockchain is changing the industry, now's the time to try. NFT games offer a real economy behind gameplay, which is revolutionary compared to traditional games.
