Been mining PI for a while now and finally went through the whole KYC verification thing yesterday. Honestly took me like 8 minutes, not as painful as I thought it'd be. For anyone still stuck on this - here's what actually matters for PI kyc verification.

First, make sure you've actually mined for at least 30 days (most people have this covered by now). You need a valid ID - passport works best if you have one, though NIN works too for us here. Clear photo of your face is crucial because they do a liveness check, so don't try it in bad lighting like I almost did lol.

The actual process: download Pi Browser, hit the Mainnet section, finish the checklist tasks first, then the KYC tab unlocks. You pick your country, upload your ID photos (front and back), fill in your details matching the ID exactly, then do the liveness check. That's it. The whole PI KYC verification shouldn't take more than 10 minutes if your info is clean.

Here's the annoying part though - approval times are all over the place. Some people get verified in minutes, others are still waiting after months. I've seen posts about people getting rejected too, usually because their photos didn't match or info didn't line up. The system has other verified users checking applications, and you need at least 2 validators from your country to approve it. Costs 1 PI coin that goes to whoever validates it.

If your application's been stuck for over a month, something's probably off with your submission. Double-check that your photos are clear and your face actually matches your ID. The verification process isn't complicated, but it's strict about accuracy. Worth redoing it if the first attempt didn't work out.
