Bitcoin Returns to $70,000: The Market Suddenly Remembers It's "Digital Gold"

Bitcoin has once again surpassed $70,000, and the market has suddenly collectively recalled one thing:
Turns out this asset is called "digital gold."
Usually everyone treats it as a high-risk asset, but once the market gets tense, people suddenly remember:
"Wait, isn't this thing supposed to be a safe haven?"
The global macro environment really hasn't been peaceful lately.
Geopolitical tensions are escalating, oil prices are rising, and stock market volatility is intensifying.
Against this backdrop, some capital is beginning to seek new asset havens.
Gold is of course the veteran choice, but Bitcoin is increasingly looking like a "younger version."
The difference is:
Gold requires mining, transportation, and storage.
Bitcoin only needs a wallet address.
This convenience is getting more and more institutions to allocate BTC.
From the data, exchange Bitcoin reserves continue to decline, indicating that many people are moving BTC to cold wallets for long-term holding.
In other words:
The number of sellers is decreasing, while the number of hoarders is increasing.
And price increases are essentially about supply and demand.
When there's less Bitcoin on the market while demand keeps growing, prices naturally go up.
Of course, the market isn't all optimistic sentiment.
Many seasoned players become more cautious when seeing $70,000.
The reason is simple:
This level has historically experienced violent swings multiple times.
So short-term volatility is almost inevitable.
But if you look at a longer timeframe, Bitcoin's trend has actually been following one pattern:
Each new high makes more people believe in it.
Once belief forms, it's hard to disappear.
This is why many institutions are now treating BTC as a long-term asset allocation.
Simply put:
In the past, people bought Bitcoin for speculation.
Now increasingly more people are buying for asset allocation.
These two types of capital are very different.
Speculative capital comes fast and leaves fast.
Allocation capital typically holds long-term.
So when Bitcoin once again reaches $70,000, it's not just a price breakthrough.
It's more like a signal:
The crypto market is gradually becoming mature.
Of course, there's one eternal truth in this market:
When it's going up, everyone's an analyst; when it's going down, everyone's a philosopher.#比特币站上七万美元
