Foresight News vor Ort berichtet, dass Jennifer Ilkiw, Präsidentin von ICE Futures U.S., einer Tochtergesellschaft der Intercontinental Exchange, auf der Consensus 2026 erklärt hat, dass eine Zusammenarbeit mit CoinDesk Indices besteht, um sieben Kryptowährungs-Futures auf dem ICE-Markt mit Bargeldabwicklung einzuführen, darunter Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB sowie die Multi-Token-Indizes CoinDesk 5 und CoinDesk 20 Futures. Dabei ist der ICE CoinDesk BNB Future der erste BNB-Future-Kontrakt, der an einer regulierten US-Börse eingeführt wird. Derzeit ist der CoinDesk 20 ETF von ProShares in New York gelistet, und Arc Investments plant, in den nächsten zwei bis drei Monaten entsprechende Produkte auf den Markt zu bringen.
Darüber hinaus planen beide Seiten, im April einen USDC-Kontrakt auf Basis des CoinDesk Overnight Rate (CDOR) einzuführen, um ein risikomanagement-Tool für Zinssätze im Kryptowährungsmarkt ähnlich wie SOFR bereitzustellen. Dieser Kontrakt wird durch die Überwachung der Kreditnetzwerk-Zinssätze und die Berechnung eines entsprechenden Index durch CoinDesk erfolgen.
