此次中断影响范围巨大。CyrusOne 在美国、欧洲与日本运营超过 55 个数据中心，故障导致 CME 全部期货与期权合约停摆，包括主要货币对、原油、棕榈油以及加密资产相关产品。多名交易员形容此事件为“噩梦”，并在社交平台呼吁 CME 取消在中断期间冻结交易造成的损失。
暂停交易发生在亚洲交易时段，加剧了因美国感恩节假期导致的低流动性环境。分析师 Tony Sycamore 指出，市场原本就因波动性与节假日因素呈现萎缩，此次停摆更令交易需求受阻，放大市场不确定性。
加密市场也受到显著冲击。CME 的比特币与以太坊期货在故障期间全面离线，正值交易情绪敏感之际。比特币价格在过去 24 小时下跌 0.55% 至 90,896 美元，较此前 8.32% 的周涨幅明显回落。此次下跌与价值 134 亿美元、共计 14.7 万份比特币期权的集中到期有关，看跌投资者从中受益。
