2月3日消息,稳定币发行商 Tether 正式发布开源比特币挖矿操作系统 MiningOS(MOS),为全球矿工提供一套可自托管、可扩展的替代方案,试图打破长期由厂商封闭软件主导的挖矿生态。
Tether 表示,MiningOS 是一款模块化的软件栈,既能支持家庭级矿机,也可扩展至跨地区、多站点的工业级矿场。该系统旨在降低运维复杂度,并减少对专有监控平台和集中式服务的依赖。
在官方介绍中,Tether 称,MOS 将透明度、开放性与协作性引入比特币挖矿基础设施的核心,不存在设备或软件锁定问题。其自托管架构通过点对点网络与设备通信,使矿工在无需第三方托管服务的情况下,也能实现集中管理和实时调度。
Tether 首席执行官 Paolo Ardoino 将 MOS 形容为“完整的运营平台”,可从小规模设置逐步扩展到大型矿业集群,满足不同算力与产出的需求。矿工可根据自身条件灵活配置节点、监控系统和网络连接方式。
早在去年6月,Tether 就曾预告将推出开源挖矿操作系统,并强调新入场的矿工应能在不依赖高成本专有工具的情况下参与竞争。此次正式发布,意味着其挖矿基础设施布局进入实质阶段。
MiningOS 采用 Apache 2.0 许可证,并基于 Holepunch 点对点协议构建,确保技术栈不受单一服务商限制。这一举措也让 Tether 加入到推动开源挖矿生态的行列,与 Jack Dorsey 旗下的 Block 等公司形成呼应。
在算力竞争日趋激烈、电力与运维成本不断攀升的背景下,开放、可定制的系统被视为矿工提升效率、降低风险的重要工具。随着 MOS 的上线,比特币挖矿行业或将迎来更加去中心化、透明化的新阶段。
