Bitwise Takes Over $267M Superstate Tokenized Crypto Carry Fund

GateNews

According to PR Newswire, Bitwise announced on Thursday that it is taking over as investment manager of Superstate’s $267 million tokenized Crypto Carry Fund (USCC). The fund, which generates yield through crypto cash-and-carry basis trades, will be renamed the Bitwise Crypto Carry Fund while maintaining the same ticker, smart contracts, and token address.

The transition is expected to close on June 1 with no disruption to existing investors. Bitwise will handle investment management while Superstate continues providing onchain infrastructure via its FundOS platform. The move marks Bitwise’s official entry into tokenized funds; the asset manager currently operates approximately $11 billion in managed assets.
