With this PIPPIN move, it feels like things are about to change drastically.

Recently, I’ve noticed a few suspicious signals while watching the market: the basis is about to hit zero, which probably means the main players have closed out most of their long positions on contracts and are getting ready to dump spot holdings. Looking at the candlestick chart, there was a slight rebound at the previous low, which is likely where retail investors set their stop-losses—just waiting to be triggered. Most importantly, the long-short ratio of large on-chain positions has flipped entirely, with bears clearly gearing up for something big.

That said, this coin has been manipulated by whales a few times before, so I don’t dare to jump in blindly now. My plan is to wait until all three signals are confirmed before making a move. I might miss the optimal entry, and the opportunity window will probably be very narrow, but at least I won’t get caught on the wrong side. Better to play it safe.

Basis reset to zero, short position reversal, stop-loss liquidation... This combination does seem a bit intense, but I think it's more reliable to wait until all three signals are present before taking action. After all, I've learned enough lessons from being liquidated.

This trader’s tactics are slick, I've been cut once before. Now seeing these signals overlap just makes me numb.

Here comes another "regime change" prediction... Basis goes to zero, stop-losses get triggered, shorts flip to longs—it always sounds so certain. But in my view, most likely it’ll end up being the usual story: price falls first, then people chase and buy back in.

This basis is about to return to zero, is the main force liquidating their positions? Feels like we're about to take a hit.

Wait a minute, the basis has to go to zero, shorts have to flip, stop-loss lines have to be hit... Your analysis sounds very thorough, but I’m still a bit skeptical. Do these signals actually match the final outcome? Didn’t you analyze it the same way the last few times you got liquidated?

I also saw the basis going to zero, but I feel the author is overinterpreting it a bit. Contract liquidation ≠ spot dumping; the logical connection is too stretched. I've heard a lot about the "main force stop-loss line" theory, but it often turns out to be wrong. You still need to look at actual trading volume for confirmation; otherwise, it’s all just theoretical talk.

The main players are using the same old tricks: basis returning to zero, stop-losses getting triggered, shorts flipping... Sounds pretty intimidating, huh? But I think this time PIPPIN might not be so easily manipulated.

Bro, your analysis is really detailed this time, but I think we should wait for a confirmation signal—don’t want to get tricked again.

It's the same old story of basis reverting to zero and stop-losses getting triggered—retail investors really are born liquidity miners.
