Japan considers investing 15 trillion yen in its second U.S. investment project

The Japanese government is considering providing a total of approximately 15 trillion yen for the second batch of projects related to its $550 billion investment commitment in the U.S. Major investment candidates include: construction of next-generation nuclear reactors, LCD and OLED display manufacturing plants, and copper smelting facilities. The largest among them will be the nuclear reactors, with Japan reviewing a proposal to build 10 reactors manufactured by Westinghouse in the United States. (Sina Finance)
