Abstract generation in progress

[Caixin] After six years, BYD has completed its battery product iteration. On the evening of March 5th, BYD announced the second-generation “Blade” battery, along with the compatible “Flash Charging” technology. BYD states that this combination can support charging the battery from 10% to 97% in under 9 minutes, with energy replenishment efficiency comparable to refueling a gasoline vehicle.

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, by 2025, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the Chinese market will reach 50.8%, with the penetration rate in the passenger car market exceeding 54%. BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu said at the launch event that nearly half of users still choose fuel vehicles, indicating that there are still unresolved issues in automotive electrification, which causes some consumers to hesitate about new energy vehicles.
