Iranian official: If military bases in the region are used to attack Iran, Tehran will respond accordingly
On the evening of the 7th local time, Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, stated in an interview that if hostile forces use regional military bases to attack Iran, Iran will respond and continue to take appropriate actions. He emphasized that this is Iran’s right and a settled policy. Shamkhani said that Iran has no conflict with Azerbaijan, but if one side uses Azerbaijani territory to plan actions against Iran, Iran will take necessary measures to respond.
