Eastern Time, March 6 afternoon, Beijing Time today (March 7) early morning, U.S. President Trump posted on social media that he “just finished a very successful meeting with America’s largest defense manufacturer to discuss production and production plans.” According to Trump, these companies have agreed to increase the production of “high-grade” weapons by “four times,” “so that the U.S. can reach the highest production levels as soon as possible.” Trump stated, “The expansion work started three months before the meeting, and the construction and production of many such weapons factories are already underway. The U.S. military has almost unlimited supplies of medium and upper-medium caliber ammunition — despite this, the U.S. military has also increased orders for these levels of ammunition.” (CCTV International News)
