Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan predicts that driven by the growth of the global store of value market to $121 trillion, Bitcoin could reach $1 million within ten years. He estimates that if Bitcoin captures 17% of that market (currently less than 4%), its market cap would reach $21 trillion. Institutional investors such as Harvard University and Abu Dhabi also support this long-term forecast. Hougan believes that despite market volatility, this prediction remains relatively conservative.
