19 days of the Iran war - where things stand

The U.S. has spent nearly $24B so far, with the war costing about $1B per day. Around 50,000 U.S. troops have been deployed to the Middle East, and 11,500 combat sorties have been carried out.

At home, the impact is visible. The average gasoline price in the U.S. is up 40% since December, and the price gap between oil in the U.S. and the Middle East now exceeds 60%.

Politically, the pressure is building. The probability of Trump’s impeachment has climbed to a record 72%.

P.S. Donald has postponed his China visit by one month. That timeline may signal how long he intends to keep the war going.
