PANews January 16 News, the open-source AI platform Sentient has released an overview of its tokenomics. The total supply of SENT tokens is 34,359,738,368. The initial distribution by percentage of total supply is as follows: community allocation accounts for 65.55% (including 44.0% for community activities and airdrops, 19.55% for ecosystem and R&D, and 2.0% for public sale), the team accounts for 22.0%, and investors account for 12.45%. The community incentives and airdrops will be unlocked at TGE, with 30% unlocked immediately and the remaining 70% linearly released over 4 years.

The early circulating supply mainly consists of allocations to the community, ecosystem, and public sales. The team and investor allocations will be unlocked later and gradually vested over several years. The annual emission rate is set at 2%, allocated to a dedicated community emission pool, which is part of a broader community initiative and airdrop distribution system used to reward users participating in GRID projects or protocol incentive programs throughout the year. At the end of the year, unused funds in the emission pool will be locked, and 2% of the funds will be redistributed the following year.
