A federal judge in Alabama has dismissed a lawsuit accusing Binance, its subsidiaries, and BAM Trading Services (Binance US operator) of facilitating terrorist financing. The judge ruled that the plaintiff's amended complaint contained defects in both law and fact, characterizing it as a "shotgun pleading." The court ordered the plaintiff to submit a properly structured revised complaint by April 10, 2026, and warned that the lawsuit could be dismissed if the defects are not corrected. Previously, a Manhattan court had also dismissed a similar terrorist financing lawsuit against Binance.
