On June 5th, Hummingbird, the client of Ethereum L2 blockchain LightLink, went online on the Celestia mainnet, publishing L2 data to Celestia DA and verifying it, and only sending block headers to Ethereum. LightLink stated that compared with Ethereum, using Celestia as its data availability layer will reduce costs, allowing us to save costs for end users in the form of lower transaction fees.
