Important Update Notice: The New Version of Isolated Margin Trading Will Be Automatically Upgraded

Dear Users, we launched the <a href="https://www.gate.io/zh/announcements/article/42317" target="_blank">new version of the isolated margin trading</a> on January 6, 2025 (UTC+8). **Starting from February 24, 2025 (UTC+8), accounts that meet the upgrade conditions will be upgraded automatically.**

After the upgrade, the isolated margin trading account will adopt a tiered mechanism to calculate the Maintenance Margin Level (MML = Account Net Assets / Account Maintenance Margin) to improve overall risk control. This will provide small investors a better liquidation price level and reduce the risk of liquidation. Additionally, the maximum leverage available is improved to 20x, catering to customers with different risk preferences.

**Automatic upgrade rules**

**1. For inactivated isolated margin markets:** The upgrade will be conducted automatically.

**2. For activated isolated margin markets:** For activated isolated margin markets: the upgrade will be conducted automatically when the upgrade condition is met (i.e., the estimated MML after the upgrade, calculated based on your current assets, is 3 or higher).

**3. Manual upgrade:** If you do not meet the automatic upgrade condition (which requires an estimated MML of 3 or higher after the upgrade), you can choose to upgrade manually. The manual upgrade process may require you to repay your loan. Please ensure that your account has sufficient assets.

**Upgrade steps: **Enter the <a href="https://www.gate.io/zh/trade/BTC_USDT?tab=isolated_margin" target="_blank">Asset section on the isolated margin order page</a>, and go to the manual upgrade entry [Maximum 20x leverage is available]. The manual upgrade process may require you to repay your loan. Please ensure that your account has sufficient assets.
