Gate TradFi Web Access Now Open, Strengthening One-Stop Multi-Asset Trading System

Global leading crypto asset trading platform Gate announced that, building on its existing App availability, it has officially launched web access (https://www.gate.com/tradfi) to its TradFi section and concluded the public beta phase. With the web version now live, Gate TradFi achieves full multi-device coverage, further expanding usage scenarios and trading entry points for traditional financial assets on the platform.

TradFi is Gate's contracts-for-difference (CFD) trading section for traditional financial assets, allowing users to trade price movements of major global assets, including forex, metals, indices, commodities, and selected popular stocks within a unified account system, without actually holding the underlying asset. Following the web launch, users can switch seamlessly between the App and web, with unified account funds, risk controls, and position data, improving trading continuity and operational efficiency.

At the account and asset management level, Gate TradFi maintains a unified account architecture. Users do not need to open a separate account to trade both crypto and traditional financial assets under the same Gate account, covering Spot, Futures, and TradFi. This supports cross-market portfolio strategies and multi-asset allocation while reducing the complexity of operating across multiple platforms.

In terms of funds, TradFi uses USDT as collateral. After transferring USDT to the TradFi sub-account, the system automatically displays it as the internal pricing unit USDx on a 1:1 basis, with no additional conversion or custody fees. The overall workflow is straightforward: after updating the App or logging in via the web, users can access the TradFi section, enable the relevant permissions, transfer funds, select instruments, and manage orders and positions, lowering the entry barrier for trading traditional financial assets.

On trading mechanics, Gate TradFi adopts CFD rules aligned with traditional financial markets, including fixed trading hours and market closures, cross-margin mode, and long–short hedging. The platform is integrated with the MT5 trading system to ensure stable execution, risk management, and position data synchronization. In terms of leverage, forex, metals, and indices support up to 500× fixed leverage, while stock CFDs support up to 5× fixed leverage, primarily for experienced traders with risk management capabilities. In terms of trading performance, since its launch, Gate TradFi has recorded total trading volume exceeding $20 billion, with peak daily volume surpassing $5 billion, reflecting continued growth in overall trading activity and liquidity.

Regarding asset coverage, Gate TradFi supports a broad range of traditional financial assets, including forex, metals, indices, commodities, and select stocks, covering major instruments such as gold, silver, NAS100, and SPX500, and enabling unified access to cross-market assets through multiple trading formats.

Notably, TradFi CFD trading fees are as low as $0.018 per order, with fixed rates for major assets that adjust by VIP tier. Positions held across market closures incur overnight fees in line with standard market practices. Overall, the fee structure is transparent and offers a clear cost advantage among comparable trading models.

In addition, on the product operations and user incentives front, Gate has launched multiple TradFi-exclusive campaigns. The TradFi Launch Celebration was held from February 2 to 22, during which the platform offered a total reward pool of $150,000, distributing various rewards such as gold and silver to users. Meanwhile, the "Gate TradFi Gold Lucky Bag" campaign has fully distributed 1,152 grams of gold, and the second phase is about to start. More TradFi promotional events will be introduced in the coming period.

With the public beta concluded and full multi-device access in place, Gate has established a unified trading framework spanning both crypto and traditional financial assets. From account structure and trading mechanics to asset coverage, its multi-asset trading system is forming a stable and scalable foundation.
