Global digital sports company Fanatics has announced the launch of its prediction market platform, Fanatics Markets, allowing users to trade on the outcomes of sports, financial, political, and cultural events. The platform utilizes the market and pricing system of Crypto.com Derivatives North America, providing users with a more secure and transparent prediction trading experience. Fanatics Markets is now available on iOS and Android, covering 24 states across the US, including key markets such as California, Texas, Florida, and Washington.
Fanatics has been dedicated to enhancing fan engagement through apparel, gaming, and digital products. CEO Matt King stated that Fanatics Markets will provide users with a safe and intuitive space to express their views on major events in sports and culture. “If the predictions are correct, users can profit from them.” He emphasized that the platform aims to become a new core entry point for fan interaction.
Travis McGhee, Global Head of Prediction at Crypto.com, pointed out that Crypto.com is the first company to offer a sports prediction market, and this partnership with Fanatics is an important step in expanding its prediction ecosystem. He said, “We are honored to be Fanatics’ preferred partner, and together, we will provide users with a secure and compliant prediction market experience.”
Fanatics officially entered the prediction market business after acquiring CFTC-registered introducing broker Paragon Global Markets in July 2025. The initial batch of contracts covers sporting events and select macro events. The company confirmed that the platform will launch its second phase next year, adding popular prediction categories such as cryptocurrency, stocks, technology, climate, pop culture, and entertainment, offering more diverse participation options for both Web3 users and traditional investors.
Fanatics Markets also integrates responsible trading tools and leverages Fanatics’ vast brand ecosystem to bring prediction markets into the mainstream. With the support of Crypto.com’s infrastructure, crypto users can participate in event predictions more securely and conveniently, further promoting the integration of sports and crypto culture.
