Odaily Planet Daily News reports that the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) released a report on the 19th stating that by 2033, the global artificial intelligence (AI) market size is expected to reach $4.8 trillion, with a significant increase in its share among cutting-edge technologies, becoming the most dominant key technology field. In comparison, the market share changes of technologies such as the Internet of Things, blockchain, electric vehicles, and solar photovoltaic are relatively limited. The report also warns that the rapid development of AI is mainly concentrated in a few major economies and large enterprises, which may exacerbate development imbalances between countries and companies. It calls for strategic investments and more inclusive global governance mechanisms to promote the broader sharing of AI development achievements. (CCTV)
