Solflare, one of the largest non-custodial wallets on the Solana blockchain, has unveiled the alpha version of Solflare AI, a native in-wallet assistant designed to automate complex DeFi workflows using natural language. The announcement was made on stage at Solana Breakpoint 2025.

Natural Language Replaces Traditional Wallet Interfaces

The new AI assistant is built to move beyond rigid wallet interfaces by allowing users to interact through plain language. Solflare AI enables on-chain actions, price alerts, portfolio management and social sentiment analysis directly inside the wallet, reducing the need to juggle multiple tools.

Intent-Based Architecture Bridges Execution Gaps

Solflare AI is powered by an “intent-based, solver-driven” architecture that translates user intent into execution across multiple protocols in the background. This approach is designed to address the fast pace of crypto markets, where delays between decision-making and execution can lead to missed opportunities.

Solflare Leadership Targets FOMO and Interface Friction

Co-founder and co-CEO Vidor Gencel said current crypto interfaces create costly delays that fuel fear of missing out. He explained that Solflare’s AI assistant closes the gap between intent and execution by allowing users to act instantly through natural language instead of navigating complex workflows.

Automation with User Control and Self-Custody

Despite its automation capabilities, Solflare emphasized that user control remains intact. All AI-generated transactions require manual review and confirmation before execution, and users can monitor or cancel automations at any time through a dedicated dashboard.

Social Sentiment and Trading Automation Built In

The AI assistant is available across both the web extension and mobile app, offering a chat-based interface that can automate trades based on time or price triggers while also analyzing live social signals from platforms such as X and Telegram.

Solflare Outlines Long-Term Vision for AI-Driven DeFi

Co-founder and co-CEO Filip Dragoslavic described the broader vision as a future where users manage diverse on-chain strategies through a single AI assistant without mastering complex mechanics. He said the goal is fewer tools, fewer tabs and less time lost to market friction.

Alpha Rollout Begins with Community Members

The alpha version of Solflare AI is currently available to a limited group, including select Solflare Guardians and community members. Wider access will be granted through a waitlist as the rollout expands, with Solflare currently serving more than 4 million active users.
