Golden Finance reported that BitUniverse, a Hong Kong-listed company, announced that it has entered into a placement protocol with a placement agent, intending to place up to 40 million shares of placement shares to no fewer than six placees through the placement agent, with each placement share priced at HK$0.41, representing a discount of approximately 19.61% from the closing price of HK$0.510 per share on the day, and raising a net maximum of approximately HK$16 million. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the placement for the application of relevant licenses required for operating a virtual asset trading platform.
