Mars Finance reports that ClawdBot founder Peter Steinberger posted on the X platform stating that his GitHub account was hijacked by crypto scammers and he is requesting help from the GitHub community to recover it. He clarified that he did not create any token projects and accused the related allegations of misusing his GitHub commit history. Additionally, he pointed out that the account name change was due to Anthropic’s request and not a voluntary decision. He also mentioned that due to trademark issues, he had to change ClawdBot’s account name, but the GitHub account renaming failed, and the X account renaming was also snatched by the “water army” of the crypto community.
