This high-profile AI project has set a new record for European AI startup financing during its fundraising negotiations. According to Financial Times reports, AMI Labs is targeting a €500 million fundraising scale with a €3 billion valuation, with expected commercial operations beginning in January 2026. The fundraising negotiations have currently entered substantive stages.

Yann LeCun resigned from his position as Chief AI Scientist at Meta to establish AMI Labs, symbolizing talent mobility and innovation diversification in the AI field. AMI Labs’ core mission is to develop AI systems capable of understanding and interpreting the physical world.
